Tobasco Brand Pepper Spray Commercial and Testimonial These two projects were created in conjunction with each other. The project was to create a product and create two commercials to sell it. We were required to use different kinds of propaganda techniques often seen in real commercials, and in mine I included patriotism, scary tactics, everyday people, and bandwagon. I created, edited and shot most of the footage in this piece. Rogue Element This piece is a condensed portion of the full version. The project was to create a creative story that ties into another subject one is studying. Along with a friend who was also in chemistry, we created a short story about an element who stole Hydrogens valence electron, and we were the element police who had to retrieve it for her. For this piece I co-wrote the script, edited, and shot most of the footage (the boat chase was lovingly ripped off from Miami Vice). Drunk Driving This is a project that was added to the curriculum of the TV I classes after I had finished the class. While I was not in the class my junior year, I would often go to the studio instead of lunch to help others with projects to further my knowledge. This was one of the few pieces that I made.
