MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 12! It’s not free, but it’s affordable. It was like $ 30 in BestBuy. You can download the free trial. (On Amazon.com, you can buy it for $ 15.)

I think, MAGIX Movie Edit Pro is a lot better than Adobe Premiere. Movie Edit Pro is way beyond the needs of the vast majority of casual video editors. But for the adventurous or more advanced user, it brings hugely powerful and versatile editing tools straight to your desktop.
