Q&A: What major in college is it to make movies?

Question by Jimmy U: What major in college is it to make movies?
I like making videos and post them on Youtube and was wondering that major I can take to further my skills at this profession. Not that I need a degree to know how to make a movie, but to get around in this life you need something and right now I just can’t go and say I want to make movies. That’s not the world I live in. What do you think?

Theater major will help you with set designs, directing, staging. Or look into film arts major.
