The European Trombone Festival “Slide Factory 2009”, the New Trombone Collective and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra commissioned the world famous trombonist, conductor and composer Christian Lindberg to write a piece for nine trombones and orchestra. “The Waves of Wollongong” is to be performed in the 2009 version of Slide Factory that will be held in Rotterdam on 26,27,28,29 March 2009. www.slidefactory.nl We would like to thank all people involved making it.
