There was this old movie that I can’t remember its name. It was part of a trilogy.
It was about three princesses whose father (because of some sort of danger) sends them out dressed as knights for some sort of mission (each girl’s helmet was modeled as an animals head – one of them was a goose I think). The movie revolved around the youngest daughter. In the 1st movie she disguised herself as a man and meets a prince who – suspecting she is female – challenges her to a swimming competition to find out her true gender. There’s a wicked witch in there but I can’t remember what her aim was (I think it may have been to marry said prince so as to take his kingdom). The princess also makes friends with a talking rock and talking stick (I’m not making this up! This movie is real, but I can’t remember its name)
In the second movie the princess is married to the prince from the first one. The wicked witch lost her powers and agrees to help the princess in eating a gingerbread house that has imprisoned a few missing children that were chained and muzzled (so that they can’t eat their way out).
(Don’t call the guys in white with the butterfly nets. I am telling you this movie is real and was aired 15 years ago)
I can’t remember what happens in the third one, but I think it involves another witch who captures the prince and tells him that if he diverts the course of a river in the forrest she would allow him and his men to go free. That is beyond his powers, and he tells her that. She decides to kill him and his band. He offers his life if she spares the lives of his comrades.
Has anyone else seen this movie 15 years ago and knows its name?
