im updating, im updating.

sarah & sasha & i are making a movie. its a weird little movie not-very-loosely based on sasha, & we filmed a bunch today. nick helped. it’s my first real attempt at a movie, and it’s not easy. we filmed most of the day today, using home depot construction lights & my reflector. not ideal, but i think we’re doing pretty well for a first attempt. i bought a real microphone, so i’m learning how to really do sound, & i’m supposed to get some real lights next week, so i’m just gonna make another short film to play with lighting.

part of the movie is about sasha meeting a real life cow. so tomorrow they’re picking me up at five am. i know, that’s what i thought. but sasha really wants to milk some flipping cows. so we’re gonna film all day tomorrow, once the sun comes up, and then they want to go downtown tomorrow night. we’ll see if i can handle that.

caroline graciously let me skip out on work for two days this week, to work on this. i honestly have not thought about work since wednesday. that was really nice of her. i hope this comes out well. i really hope so.

oh and i miserably failed at building a diy camera stabilizer this evening. fun trying, though. i might have to buy one. i also got a haircut. finally. and made pals with the haircutter. who i suspect went to high school with me. hard to say.

They filmed scenes at Shelton High School …

Sure, it has numerous faults, but for a made-for-TV movie it is quite entertaining. The film was originally aired in the beginning of 2010. Now, one year later it is getting a Blu-ray release. This is likely due to the fact that it was originally shot in …
