I make amateur movies a a hobby, and I need a new camera.
One with good picture quality and has a external mic jack. I hera good things about DV cameras, but I am worried that taes are going to go the way of VHS’s.

A Year ago I would recommend a miniDV.

Today I am undecided. believe You should choose a HD camcorder with a hard disk if You work with a PC.

Many regular camcorders have a mini stereo mic jack and also a mini earphone jack.
