Movie making help needed asap…?
Hey, For a college portfolio ( to get into a certain college) I have to make a short movie, based on the theme of freedom.
it only has to be 4 minutes max. Does anybody have any ideas?
Instead of one with loads of People & talking, I wanted to just have maybe one person,
and no talking, just let their actions tell the story & maybe narration over it, if you get me..
Please give me ideas, I’m open to anything.
I’m usually creative but I’m stuck on this one.
Also, as well as the short movie, I’m making a music video.
My idea for it is to have loads of signs with short quotes relating to ‘freedom’,
like the well known – live, laugh, love. and get loads of different types of people in different places to hold the signs. mend them together in between clips of people doing crazy things.

Freedom (: that’s good one.
You could have different people, walking into an elevator by themselves. They’d say goodbye to their colleagues with a polite smile, walk calmly, get into the elevator and then they’re free. They can take off their belts, adjust their bras, take of their uncomfortable heels, take their hair down, etc. Show clips of each one saying goodbye, clips of each on getting in, pressing the button, then show them doing those things ^ Then they could walk out of the elevator with a big smile, but show all the smiles one after the other.
If you’ve seen the Heinz beans ad, you’ll know they type of style I’m talking about.
I like your idea too, but it could be a little more creative.
