The movie involved a father-son competition camp trip to Catalina Island, CA. It might have been a Disney Movie in the 90s. The Protagonist was a father and his son. The dad kept embarrassing the son throughout the entire movie because he kept trying to compete with another father who was really mean. In the end of the movie the camp holds a father son race through an old gold mine to find a pot of gold. When they find it, they find out it is chocolate. And of course the antagonist father and son pop up to and they get into a fight over it. and all 4 end up almost falling into a deep mine shaft.
Other scenes involve the dad and son having to do a series of Father-Son competitions like egg on spoon races and a basketball game. The entire time the dad is making a fool out of his son.
Help me please. Just cant think of the name of the movie or any of the actors in it because I was just a kid. Thanks
