I bought a Dell disk top PC with windows XP home edition installed , after sometimes of using it I noticed that there are som software problems that makes the computer does not work correcctly , and every time I tryed to open the movie maker I get an error message . when I want to make system recovery H discoverd that that is not exist in the programes I contacted both Microsoft & Dell to get my software CD which did not come with my PC ( I dont know why) and I did not get any thing from them both , how can I make system recovery online dependin on my self .

I just realized that computers that don’t provide operating system CDs can do system recovery by going into safe mode and choosing the ‘last good known configuration’ option. But the safe mode button varies with different brands. My computer’s safe mode button is F8. ..If I remember correctly, Dell computers’ recovery button is F11. You can try that button and read the instruction carefully before proceeding. If you are not sure, then don’t do it.They may have changed the settings. … It helps if you read the manuals that came with your PC.
