“The movie the pregnancy pact” How do you feel about children making this kind of decision?
Question by *~Proud Mommy~*: “The movie the pregnancy pact” How do you feel about children making this kind of decision?
There is a movie called “The pregnancy pact” that is based off of news reports on a high school where several 15-16 year old girls made a pact to get pregnant.
How do you feel about young teens making this kind of decision? Do you blame the parents? Do you blame society? What are your thoughts and feelings about this kind of behavior going on in our schools?

I blame parenting (if the kids’ parents were paying enough attention to them they wouldn’t have the chance to “make a baby”,and if they were honest with their children their children would feel more comfortable talking to them about wanting/needing birth control/another contraceptive, they’d know how important contraceptives are,an they’d know the dangers of sex. I also blame the schools for not having sex ed,but it’s not the school’s responsibility to teach these children about sex,it’s the parent’s. Sex ed is a good thing, but if the schools aren’t teaching it the parents need to. I also blame media, because everything/anything anymore is around/based off of sex,and sex sells, and these girls see that. If they didn’t feel like they have the role models that sold sex left and right most of them wouldn’t even find it necessary to start having sex at a young enough age to be able to plan a pregnancy at 15 and 16. Overexposure.
