Question by J: DVD player won’t open…Help!?
I have a Toshiba DVD/VHS player and it’s been working fine for all the years I’ve had it. Tonight, after I finished watching a movie, I pressed the eject button and the tray wouldn’t open. Instead it just kept making this mechanical sound like it was trying hard, but failing, then just gave up. I tried turning it off and on again, letting it cool down, etc. and it still keeps making that sound and won’t open. I can’t find a manual eject either and the DVD is still in there. Is the player dead?

I think its just a problem with the gears inside of it. Don’t be a sissy, just rip it out of there
