This may sound like a stupid question but i dont care…..What makes 3d movies so special? ive watched 3d movies and the only difference to me is that im watching it in red and blue….. i dont see whats the big deal is, am i looking through the glasses wrong? am i supposed to strain my eyes to get the full affect? 3D movies seem like they are SUCH a big deal why am i not enjoying it the same way everyone else is???? I know 3d is supposed to feel like its popping out at me but i only see it the same as 2d movies cept the movie has a mixed combination of blue and red.
oh ok….yea i want to see jackass on 3d but i wasnt sure if i wanted to waste my money on it, i havent seen a 3d movie since that spy kids 3d came out years and years ago lol.
Thank you for your answers . I had no idea that they stopped using the red and blue glasses i think i might see a movie in 3d and see how it goes.

When you wear the appropriate glasses, each eye is supposed to see only a portion of the image, simulating the differences of perspective. You don’t need to strain at all for it to work. If you are only sighted in one eye, have a strong imbalance in the vision in one eye, etc., you won’t see the effect. If you aren’t wearing the correct glasses, you won’t see the effect.
