Does this sound like a good start to a movie?

Question by Ian: Does this sound like a good start to a movie?
Title
Ian McPhie

[we start with a Birds eye view shot over a small town. We zoom in to a school building. We go in to the school building in the middle of an English class]

Charlie (teacher): So now that we know the rhyming pattern I would like you all to write me a sonnet.

Whole Class: [groans]

Charlie: It isn’t very hard to do all you have to do is make sense and rhyme.

[everyone quickly starts writing]

Ian: Oh yeah this is totally easy! Charlie I have my sonnet.

Charlie: Read it for us Ian.

Ian: Must write a sonnet and make it sound good. So many things I would rather do. Don’t want to do it but no that I should. I would rather watch TV and sleep too. If I don’t do this then Charlie will be mad. Still my mind wanders to whats in the fridge. Leftover spaghetti would make me feel glad. I am at line eight I am passed a ridge. It is eight lines down and its six more to go. Maybe this won’t be so hard after all. Maybe I will catch my favorite show. Maybe I will even go play football. Who am I kidding I never play ball. My sonnet is the most awesome of all.

Charlie: Very good Ian.

Ian: Thank you Charlie.

Charlie: You know I am going to call you McPhie from now on. That is the coolest last name I have ever had in my classes.

Ian: OK cool.

Charlie: OK, does anybody else have a poem for me.

Shelby: I do, it is a haiku.

Charlie: OK go for it.

Shelby Click clack click clack click. Those are noises my car makes. Clack click clack click clack.

Charlie: Uh. OK then anybody else.

Tanner: I have a haiku too.

Charlie: OK lets here it Tanner.

Tanner: Wait haiku’s are usually about nature right?
Charlie: Yes they are.

Tanner: OK. Nature is boring. It is just a little dirt. I find it so lame.

Charlie: OK that was good I especially like when it ended.

Maddy: Hey guys! Guess what.

Tanner: what?

Maddy: Squirrel!

Charlie: OK? That was a little bit random. Lets try to be a bit more on topic now OK?

Maddy: OK sorry.

Shelby: Hey guys did you know cows always point north.

[whole class bursts into laughter including Charlie]

Truman: I have a poem that I analyzed Charlie. It is the Soviet union anthem.

Charlie: Again Truman? You always have to bring the Soviet Union or Communism when we do work.

Ian: Gosh Truman stop being so communist.

[Bell Rings]

Charlie: Come on guys hurry why are you still here?
