If I write a script which is good and a game company wants to produce the game, do I sell the wrights or the studio that buys my script?

It all depends on the contract you sign with the company that bought your script. If you’re a struggling writer you probably are selling all the rights because you need the money. If you are J.K. Rowling, your team of attorneys will protect your interests and make sure you own everything related to your characters.
