I went to see my best friend in her apartment, and we ended up talking about kinky sex. She showed me some “toys” she and her husband use, among them a pair of handcuffs, only this was different from what I’m used to see in the movies because it has a hinge instead of a chain connecting the two sides.

My friend told me her husband will be away on abusiness trip for one week and invited me to stay with her — I eagerly accepted, because she has a nice apartment downtown and this means I won’t have to commute to my job. A real treat.

Then, in an afterthought, she proposed a bet. She said on Friday night she would give me the handcuffs and the key, and that I should put them on myself, behind the back, and then use the key to free myself. If I manage to do that, she will give me $ 500; if not, I’ll stay handcuffed all night.

I think she’s being nice and this is a way of giving me money without embarassing me; but I’m terrified I might lose the bet.

What should I do?
