I would usually use windows movie maker, but its too slow. I want to make, like a slideshow type thing with music & effects & stuff, but i want the pictures i put on to go to the next one faster. Like, so the pictures can play really fast if i need them to. Does that make sense .. ? Well any help is really appreciated because i really want to try this stuff out 🙂 Oh & it needs to be free & safe for download. Thanks ! 🙂

Do you happen to have Microsoft PowerPoint? It’s really good for slideshows with media in them. You can change the speed of words and pictures and change when a sound plays or image appears. Like have an image slowly fade in, and the sound starts playing 1,2,or 3 seconds after. If you don’t have it, unfortunately it does cost money, but try to access it on another computer. It’s a good program.
