Tae Sik (Won Bin), un anterior agente se convierte en un solitario después de perder a su esposa embarazada en un accidente desgraciado y vive una vida amarga trabajando en una casa de empeños. Él sólo tiene unos pocos clientes y una amiga llamada So Mi (Kim Sae Ron), una niña de al lado. Como Tae Sik pasa el tiempo cada vez más con So Mi, se apega a ella. Luego So Mi es secuestrada con su madre Hyo Jeong (Kim Hyo Seo ) por una banda, y Tae Sik tratará de salvar a So Mi. Su misterioso pasado se revelará. Argument: His only friend called him “The Man From Nowhere”… Tae sik (Won Bin), a former special agent becomes a loner after losing his wife in a miserable accident and lives a bitter life running a pawnshop. He only has a few customers and a friend named So Mi (Kim Sae Ron), a little girl next door. As Tae sik spends more and more time with So mi, he gets attached to her. Then So mi is kidnapped by a gang, and as Taesik tries to save So mi by becoming deeply associated with the gang his mysterious past is revealed.
