Q&A: good movie making program?

Question by kuwaizair: good movie making program?
I don’t know what one to go with. windows live movie maker is so so so bad. I could aways download countless trial versions and pick one to buy.
unless I do not want to be lawful.
I want one that has multiple audio layers
nice screen transmissions
effects, effects.
is Sony’s program better than Cyberlink’s movie maker? Is Adobe the end all in awesome? one site said Cyberlink’s movie maker is very good in comparison to 6 others. Adobe ranked in their 3rd best.
i don’t really need blueray or hi-deff features.

i have deal with this before. yes, windows LIVE movie maker is terrible and awefully bad. i suggest getting windows movie maker for xp or window movie maker 2.6 for vista. i use wmm for cutting my films, some transactions, and some sound editing.
if you want multiple audio and special effects, go with either SONY VEGAS or adobe premeir. those are the best. they offer around 5 (i havent use it in a while) layers for videos and audio so you can do picture in picture, special effects and much more. this program is for making short videos about blogs, some comedy videos, something thats not action related.
the pro version has much much more, it’s use for “hollywood” videos like action videos and complex special effects. but those could cost over 300 or more dollars.
depends on what you are making videos for.
if its basic for youtube, get windows movie maker
if its a little more then basic for youtube, get SONY VEGAS or adobe
if its complex videos, get the pro version, especially adobe after effect.
me, i like to use windows movie maker, heres a example of windows movie maker at its best (i made it and i made it before i got adobe premier. we use our own special effect instead of from computer). the video is good and got good comments but it lacks the audience.
