PixEvo – The Fountain Walkthrough

**THIS VIDEO USES ANNOTATIONS! TURN THEM ON NOW!** This is a walkthrough (or speedrun, whichever floats your boat) for PixEvo – The Fountain on Kongregate. This mind-numbing platformer requires you to have pixel-perfect jumps, literally. If you have played I Want to Be The Guy, this game should be really easy. If not, you’re in for a challenge. Luckily, you have this walkthrough. Also, the ending sucks. www.kongregate.com Breakdown: 0/4 pixels – Simple, jump and you can strafe left or right. Small movements :(. 0/8 pixels – You bigger, still have to jump and strafe. At least you jump higher. 0/16 pixels – LEGS! Finally I don’t have to jump. Platforming is a pain due to pixel-perfect jumps. 0/32 pixels – Legs and arms, I’m able to use levers, but who cares? I only care that I can jump higher and run faster. Making that last jump is a pain. 0/64 pixels – WINGS! I can fly, but only for a short time. At least I can get somewhere. 0/128 – I’m a dragon-beast thing that can fly forever and shoot fireballs. Who doesn’t want to become this when they grow up?! I sure do! 128/128 – I can finally get to the stupid fountain, but why would anyone want to do this, I want to stay a dragon-beast thing forever! Oh well… Author’s Notes: It’s a platformer… there’s gonna be screwups, I’m not tasselfoot for God’s sake. Making pixel-perfect jumps are very difficult. If I could savestate/loadstate, that would be great, but I can’t. At least I remembered to open up Notepad for the ending …
