Should there be a law against making movie sequels? Or movies out of comic books? Or video games?
Question by Pocket Protectorate: Should there be a law against making movie sequels? Or movies out of comic books? Or video games?
(Should there be a law that says any movie made must be an intelligent original and only 1 out of 10 can be a kid’s movie? Or am I being too sarcastic and I should be stoned to death with stalks of raw cauliflower?)

Its called artistic freedom for a reason. People have the right to make crappy movies if they want.
Also it is a trade off. The more intelligent a movie is, the more likely it will not be entertaining.
If you want to gain intelligence try reading a book instead of watching movies all the time. Yes they still make books.
