Question by COLOSSUS: why are there no moving pictures of mars?
why dont they have more moving pictures of mars or of lunar exploration that are more recent than the apollo missions ? has technology not progressed far enough to make movies ? I want to see moving pictures not stills, surley nasa could do it if they wanted !!!

Moving video takes a lot more power and bandwidth to transmit than stills, which means fewer images per unit of time.
And since the only thing moving on Mars are the rovers, all you would see is a shaky video of the landscape going by.
