I work in a language school and we want to create parallel text books of Miyazaki’s anime movies and sell them to students as part of the course. Does anyone have an idea how to find out who holds the copyrights for the Japanese dialog scripts of his animations? (Princess Mononoke(Mononoke Hime), Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service,Nausicaa the Valey of the Wind).
Any pointers and tips much appreciated.

You have to buy out the company to get the copyright and that is NOT going to happen
In any case, speak with Studio Ghibli, as the copyright would be held through the parent company
