Does anyone else Think a Book can be made word for word into a movie?
Question by Narx: Does anyone else Think a Book can be made word for word into a movie?
people always say that a book cannot be made word for word into a movie. they say there are too many details and words. i have a theory on how you can make a movie exactly like a book. here is the reason why i believe so. Tell me if you agree or if i am wrong and why?
most words in a book are descriptions, and he said, she saids. in movies description is shown not written, and characters speak directly

Oh, it can… just not a movie I’d care to watch. A faithful adaptation of most novels would be at least six hours long.
Movies and books are good at different things. The sooner people realise that, the sooner fans of a book will stop complaining that the movie ruined the story for them. (That said, there are some movie adaptations that deserve to be burned. One that springs to mind is Ursula K Le Guin’s Earthsea. Another is Susan Cooper’s The Dark Is Rising.)
