I want to put them togetther as a job? but im not sure what i would need to major in? and what schools are good? please help me?
also making commercials would be fun

Film editing is largely vocational, meaning you don’t need a degree in film to do it. If you can use a non-linear editor well then you should be able put together a demo reel of your best work and shop it around. If you have no experience at all, you can get diplomas in editing and film production.
One very good school is the Vancouver Film School. It’s a one year program. The cost is a bit high but it is worth it. They produce working grads. Check it out.
