The best part about waiting in the theatre for two hours was that it was full of nerds and at one point a couple of people started having a wizard’s duel in the aisle. Except then one of them was like, “AVADA KEDAVRA!” and so it was just kind of over. SPOILER: the movie version of the Half-Blood Prince was… um… different. I expect that not everything in the book to make it to the movie, that’s normal. What I don’t expect is for the script writers to insert events that NEVER EVEN HAPPENED. That world-wide beloved best-selling story that I was just reading? That’s not what I saw on the screen. It was still enjoyable though, and I’ll probably like it more after a second viewing without the shock factor.
