have Gimp (it’s very close to photoshop) and I want to make a movie poster manipulation. I’m a first-timer. lol

My questions:

1 I need to cut the actress out of a picture and post her on another background. I know how to do the cutting with the scissors, but what’s after that? I can’t seem to get the background to go away. People say to click inside of the pic when you are done and the background will go away, but I must be missing something. I do all the little dot things and click inside, but it doesn’t work. It just puts another dot.

2 How do I change skin color?

3 I know how to do eye colors, but where can I select colors like brown? I go to filter pack and they don’t have good “eye colors”

Look…I do not know crap about graphics! But my best friend uses GIMP because he is on linux( we are some linux geeks)
