Question by James: A career of making movies? What college major would one take for this?
I LOVE to put together movies, whether it be real video (that i shot) or footage i take from video games, i love producing movies. I would love to make a career out of putting them together. I usually do everything – Film and direct and finally put it all together. What would this be considered? Being a movie producer? What should my major be in college if i wanted to pursue this (and what are some prestigious colleges when it comes to this?)?

filmography i believe. or cinematography. it’s not really so much about the school with this major to be honest, it’s about ur potential before u get there. I had plenty of people at OSU who did a lot of indie and small budgets afterwards that were brilliant. but they were making films before they got to college. but i would say cities like LA and NYC would be the places to look.
