Alesis iO2 Express Review / Tips

I was looking for an interface to record high quality audio to my computer and like a lot of products which are impractical to try before you buy I was going to have to do some research and just go for one. This video is about my experiences with the Alesis iO2 Express USB audio interface. I can’t comment on any other interface but I am fair and honest about my experience with the Alesis. The entire voice over was recorded using the iO2 Express and a Rode NTG2 shotgun microphone, maybe not ideal but its what I have and it’s a good mic. *Update- I just bought the Rode NT2a and used in conjunction with the Alesis iO2 express it sounds fantastic. I also played around recording 2 channels at the same time one with the Rode NT2a and the other with my electro-acoustic guitar plugged straight in. Sounds great, so clean!
