Question by Sal: Any good free stop motion software that does not use a webcam?
I need some software for stop motion. I do not have a webcam, but I have a very good digital camera. The pictures are on my computer, and I am using Windows XP 32-bit. I tried highlighing all my pictures in windows movie maker and adding the speed up effect, but it wont work. My friend has a windows 7 computer, and it has windows movie maker and it works the the windows 7 version of movie maker. I tried to find a download for windows 7 movie make, but i could not. So basicly I need a stop motion program that uses a digital camera. Please Help! Thanks.

Some of the best free software was made for Windows XP including Monkey Jam. This is the only stop motion software that can use photos already stored on a computer – the rest use a video camera in real time to capture the pictures. Here are some tutorials and the link to Monkey Jam.
