ok well I’ve downloaded audacity (a free audio editor and recorder). The problem is that I really don’t hve any ideas of how to use it..so I thought some pros here would like to help. We hve a science project and there will be a movie that we are going to make…so basically I want to change our voices (in the recording) in this chipmunk style.. I hope u ppl understand what I’m saying. Can someone here give me the whole instructions plz!!!! Thank u…n if u guys wanna suggest another software much better than this plzz tell but explain how to use it too.

If you have the latest version, highlight your audio selection and go to “effect” then “change speed” to make it faster or slower. If you want to make it sound chipmunk-like without making it faster, just higher pitched, go to “effect” then “change pitch”. Hope it works out!
