I got these for my mini and 10/22. It is marketed and sold as a “muzzle break,” though I was just informed it *might* be considered a flash suppressor.
Now, I live in NY where flash suppressors are banned, but there is no mention of muzzle breaks. So where does this fall?
Yea, I have a pistol grip, and for that matter, a telescopic stock. It’s pinned so it’s legal, but this stuff adds up.

You’re correct, you are on shaky ground. The clinton AW ban made them illegal, the law has since expired. If NY doesnt allow flash suppressors, i wouldnt risk muzzle brakes either. Check with a local gun store to be sure.
