i heard that they were a few years ago, but i haven’t heard an updates

Last reports are that it was still “in production” with a release date in 2008. However there has been no news one way or another since 2006. Since completion of the screenplay and selection of a director, no news has come out.

I doubt that they’ll hit 2008…most likely, nothing until considerably later, but that’s just idle speculation.

I’m guessing that they lost backing (ie money).
