Best software to make a video?

Question by beachgirl: Best software to make a video?
I am making a video for my grandmas 80th birthday, with like the pictures and music. I have made them before but I have only used Windows Movie Maker. I know there are better ones out there, I just don’t know what they are. Our main computer doesn’t have a DVD burner drive but I’m thinking about getting a laptop and it does. Or I could maybe use my brothers mac.
Anyway, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My son makes lots of movies and we got Adobe Premier Elements. We found it on the web with discounts for just $ 45. It should more than satisfy you for the price. There are pro’s and con’s to all these video editing suites, so there can be passionate replies 🙂 We liked Adobe because it’s simple to use and works with all the favorite formats. It makes great movies. Also, you can download it for free from Adobe and try it out for thirty days, so give it a try!
