Question by Jacko S: Can I resuse an old movie title for my movie, and just change one letter?
I’m writing a script for an independent movie I want to make. The problem is, theres a 1987 movie with basically the same title. The difference is, their title contains the word “one” and I use “1”.

Is that enough of a difference for me to get away with using it? Should I go with something else?

I don’t think that titles have to be unique – I’ve seen quite a few that have been duplicated. Might be a good idea to change it so that people don’t confuse it with the other though.
