Question by RedneckBarn: Can someone explain some of the plot points of the new Transformers movie to me?
1. Is Megatron going to be an active character in the movie — or is he just frozen in the ice — and if so, does he transform into a gun?
2. Will Optimus Prime have a trailer that just dissapears when he wants it to (like in the cartoon)?
3. How do these alien robots take the forms of human machines? Do they come down here and rebuild themselves into helicopters/cars/whatevers?
Maybe some of you know something, or maybe these questions can spark some conversation. I have tons of more questions, but these are the basic ones. I am deathly afraid that with making this a serious action movie, the premise will fall beyond the realm of suspension of disbelief and squarely in the middle of camp-ville.
I apologize. Apparently I need to add some details for some of you. I’ll address droopydog’s comments first.

And same to you rickdarkone. Also, I’m neither. I was a big fan of the cartoon as a child, and thought the concept may be interesting. I don’t really believe that it’s a kid’s movie — seeing as how it looks very dark and violent — and would definitely not take my children to go see it. I was simply asking a question of people who may have had something worthy to contribute.
But again, thank you very much for being a douche. I’m sure you’re “Top Contributor” status is not a fluke, judging by the endless assistance you’ve provided me here today.

First let me say that I’m surprised that a transformers movie HAS plot points, second I’m amazed that anyone would need to have them explained to them.
We aint talking about “Citizen Kane” here .
