It is super bad and way too short. Any suggestions.
My career goal is to work in the film industry as an editor or a director. I am interested in pursuing this career because of my passion for making movies. One of my favorite parts of movie making is that I am able to look at a completed project and I know that I am responsible for the outcome. I take pleasure in putting together all of the pieces needed to form the final product. I enjoy the satisfaction that comes from being part of something that is so much bigger than I am. I am looking for a school where I can accomplish all of my educational goals. I want to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in media arts. While at college I want to grow socially and grow mentally, gaining knowledge. My college of choice will supply me with all of the tools necessary to be successful in my learning experience. I would like a college that has many opportunities to advance in skill and knowledge. I want to leave university prepared for my career.
Pacific University is the perfect place to help me attain these goals, enhancing my creativity while giving me the hands-on experience needed to prepare me for the future. I look forward to all of the opportunities that Pacific University will provide. At Pacific University, I will have many opportunities to apply my expansive knowledge. Pacific University’s access to good equipment and the small interactive classes will give me opportunities to excel. I will gain more than just technique, but will learn to lend a critical and creative eye to every project I endeavor, and throughout my life.
In order to make my education successful, I must commit completely. With vision in mind, I will stay determined until I accomplish my goals. When given a task, I keep on it until I finish to my satisfaction. This determination will make my education a success. Through perseverance I will continue to work through all obstacles that attempt to stand in my way. Being a Christian plays a major role in my life. Because of my faith I try to live my life by the words of Paul in Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” By working with all of my heart it is impossible for me to give less than one hundred percent of my effort. My vision for the future, determination, and creativity will open the doors; the skills I gain at Pacific University will give me the keys.
I’m looking for ways to rephrase the beginning where it is really repetitive. Also it is supposed to be 500 words, so it is too short.
