Can you upgrade from Windows 7 to Mac OS X Snow Leopard?
Question by Thien: Can you upgrade from Windows 7 to Mac OS X Snow Leopard?
I don’t know much about computers and I saw some articles that Snow Leopard is better than Windows 7 for like movie making and all that other stuff and I like making movies, but my dad bought me a PC and Windows 7 software.
I’ve only dealt with upgrading Vista to 7, so I just need some confirmation before I waste my money for something I can’t use and if I can’t upgrade to Snow Leopard, do i have to buy a new computer?

You’d have to do a complete format.
Also, the license agreement of OSX prevents you from ‘legally’ installing OSX on your PC. You must have an actual apple laptop to fulfill this agreement.
You could try the hackintosh route, but a lot of devices aren’t supported correctly. Unless you have a pretty good unix/BSD grasp it will likely be a gigantic hassle.
keljaden, nobody’s going to spend $ 500 on a dev license and $ 135 on snow leopard just to run OSX on a PC. Instead of being a douchebag please provide some relevant information.
