CoInitialize has not been called when making movie?

Question by kittykitt129: CoInitialize has not been called when making movie?
I recorded an audio file while using Audacity. I exported it as an mp3 and tried to make a movie with it in Windows Movie Maker. When I put it on the timeline, the box giving me a preview of the movie started flickering like crazy. When I tried to play it it said “CoInitialize has not been called”. When I tried to get the properties of the mp3 while still in WMM, the program crashed. I had long closed down Audacity. Everything except the internet.
Prior to this, an error box started popping up everytime I open a program, saying Exception Processing Message c00000013 parameters 75b6bf9c (x3), and I’ve done nothing to it for it to do that.
So, I’m asking, how do you get rid of the box mentioned in the second paragraph, and what do I do to make the mp3 in the first paragraph to work?

If the problem in the second box pops up with every program, you get that fixed. It could be anything – hardware, Windows, a virus – so you’re going to need more help than you can get here.

Once you get that fixed, the other problem should go away.
