The guitar i use in this video is a guitar that i built myself a few years ago. It has a SEAMLESS 2 peice mahogany back, and the top is actually technically a 15 peice alder top, making up the american flag. Yes, that is a vintage danelectro neck, though i dont know which model it is off of, it is definitely more than 10 years old, and probably not a DC. In the way of pickups, i have two vintage Lace Sensors in the Mid and Neck position, and i cheaped out and put a very high output dimarzio super distorion in it. You can notice that at around 2:20 i switch from my neck position Lace pickup to the Dimarzio pickup and the output is much much higher. This guitar can get lots and lots of different sounds out of it, anywhere from a Tele, to a Strat on the bridge pickup, to a strat on the neck, to a tele’s bridge pickup, and manditorily, i can get it to sound like a les paul BurstBucker 3 or 2. And thats without phase switching or Series/Parallel switching OR stomp effects. Im plugged directly into a Marshall Vintage Modern (which i dont like personally, im more of a plexi fan) I had a local guitar shop wire the guitar back in 04, and a few weeks later i stopped playing the guitar cause it would buzz very very very badly.
