Cowboy Bebop live action movie?

I heard rumors by some magazines that a live action movie is “in development” w/ 20th century fox. a producer said that they had just signed a contract or watever. Keanu Reeves is rumored to play Spike. I think it would make a cool movie as long as they dont screw it up.
Anyon else heard those rumors and if so what do you think. and who do you think would be good for the cast? I say megan fox would look cool as faye but i dont know too much about her acting skills.

This is the only “solid” info available right now. Unfortunately, you have to sign up for a membership to get this info.
