creative movie title?
Question by Irish fencer: creative movie title?
I’m working on making a movie for a high school competition. I thought of a great movie idea, and I’m working on the script, but I am seriously stumped on the name. I’m admittedly good at all the other parts of making a movie, just the title stumps me. wierd. any ideas? here’s the synopsis:
Mara is no ordinary Christian girl during one of the fiercest wars known in history, World War II. Since she was born to Jewish parents, Mara and her sister have remained in hiding on a secluded farm in the basement since the Germans invaded their hometown of Paris. Things are at first boring and repetitive, but things will forever change for Mara once two lost Germans find them in their hideout. As the Germans figure out a way to get all of the refugees into camps, one of the Germans, called Alexandre, comes down with a life-threatening case of the flu. His comrade, Kent, threatens to kill Mara’s sister if she doesn’t make Alexandre well again in two weeks. Mara angrily agrees, and tends to the German, not much older than her. As she spends more and more time with the German, having regular conversation with him, her heart, which had become cold and hard since she was first locked up in the basement, begins to soften. Alexandre also enjoys her company, and the more time they spend together, the deeper they fall into a forbidden love. During the two weeks that Alexandre is ill, Kent is able to figure out a way to get more soldiers to the farm. During the night, one of the refugees tells Mara of Kent’s plan, and suggests that Mara should kill Alexandre. With only one soldier, he could be over-powered. Then, all of the refugees, including Mara’s only living family member (her sister) would be safe. Alexandre also wants to help Mara escape, but if he does and he’s caught, the penalty would be death. Mara and Alexandre struggle with their hearts and feelings as they must choose between each other and their lives.
It’s got a lot more detail and stuff, so no negative comments on the story line please. thank you for the title ideas!
