digital and movie camera combined?

Question by confusedkid: digital and movie camera combined?
i need a digital camera(for taking about 75 pictures) and a video camera (for making about 10-15 minute movies). But i want both the digital camera and the movie camera to be combined. is that possible? are there any good digital and movie camera’s combined for a reasonable price? please give me some names of digital and movie cameras combined and/or specific links to websites.

You’re gonna have trouble finding them, and when you do, it will be very expensive. When recording video, the recorder is able to write with a low number of megapixels because the eyes fill in parts of the video that are low-quality. I work at a photo lab at Sam’s Club and what I recommend to people is that they buy a digital camera that has movie mode on it. A 7-megapixel camera will record high-quality video too… And you can record 2 hours or so on a 2GB memory card. (On a DVD camcorder, you can only record half an hour on 1 minidvd and on a DV camcorder, you can only record 60 minutes on 1 tape). We have a Casio Exilim 10.1 mp camera for about $ 200 that also has movie mode. From what I’ve seen, that’s your best bet.
