Just got a 3d tv and so far it sucks. But I am wondering does the movie you get make a difference. I am also looking for a site that has information on 3d movie quality.

It depends on how the movie was shot. if it was shot with a 3D camera, then the quality will be great. if it was converted to 3D in post processing, the quality will most likely be terrible. Unfortunately the later method seems to be the more popular choice at the moment in order to make addition money from 3D sales.
