I’m 13 years old and I’ve been watching these shows Ned’s declassified school survival guide and zoey 101 with my younger brother and i see all these 12-14 year old kids making out every episode and have these relationships that are more intamite that a 20 year olds. So what I’m asking is do you think this puts pressure on kids and makes them think this is what you should do at that age?

I think kissing in movies is not a bad example, it should teach kids it is a good, healthy, wonderful thing to do.
However, yes, I agree with you that other things on TV and movies are setting a bad example to kids and putting lots of pressure on kids to do things they are not ready to do.
We see things on TV and we think this is reality (and it is not). I’m sad to say that it is a bad example to grown- ups too. It is wise of you to notice at the age of 13 things that even many adults can’t see. TV is making people feel they need to look like Barbies and have the best car and they can’t tell they have been influenced by the media.
so yes, I agree with you that it is a bad example, but not the kissing or hugging. kissing and hugging is great!
