Graduates have been advised to “dumb down” their CVs in order to get work, according to a study by Citizens Advice Scotland. It found that a quarter of those it interviewed were stuck in poorly paid jobs that didn’t require a degree. Universities say the survey paints an overly negative picture. In other news, millions of people around the planet will watch the Olympic opening ceremony tonight – but the First Minister says all the attention offers a chance to sell Scotland to the world.
