Long-closed Mars Theatre poised for a comeback
MARS HILL — The old Mars Theatre on Main Street has definitely seen better days. The once-flashing red rooftop sign is dark and faded. The box office window is empty and forlorn. Inside, the auditorium is disheveled. Forgotten reels of films are stashed in the old projection booth.
