For all those experts on making Sims 2 Movies?
Question by JRobbs: For all those experts on making Sims 2 Movies?
Okay, I just started making movies on the Sims 2. I’d just like you to rate it and tell me what you think and give honest and constructive criticism. Please don’t post rude answers. Also, for those who do movies, I made the movie with Windows Movie Maker and I can’t seem to figure out how to get text on the bottom of the video. For example, in some Sims movies, when the characters are talking, the text is at the bottom of the screen. I can’t seem to get the text down there – it’s somehow always in the middle. I don’t want to use it because it’ll ruin the whole video. Please help and rate. It would be very much appreciated.

By the way, this is my first video, so it’s not the best. Please keep that in consideration. Thanks 🙂
Thanks! Oh, and I know what part you’re talking about – at then end when I was going over the neighborhood. I noticed that after I saw the clip but I decided it wasn’t a big deal so I just kept it. I will apply everything you told me, thank you so much for you help!
All other answers will be appreciated as well 🙂

That’s looking really good. You may want to upgrade the quality of the picture by increasing the pixel count (this can be done in game in the camera options, just make sure everything is set to high, and also I believe in your Movie Maker). Also, if you are doing exterior shots, its best to have all the walls up and the roof in place. It makes things look more realistic.
The soundtrack is good though, as is the concept. As you get better and learn more tricks, your vids will improve. Everyone has to start somewhere. I don’t use the Window’s Movie Maker though, so I’m not sure how to add text I’m afraid.
