Free video making software other than movie maker?

Question by Nasune: Free video making software other than movie maker?
I am at my wits end with movie maker it sucks and I am not about to uninstall it and have to reinstall service pack two. Any suggestions?

Free video edition programs for Windows (not including Windows Movie Maker):

– Avid FreeDV
– Wax
– Zwei-Stein
– Virtual Dub
– Jahshaka

And other things that can be useful but I don’t fit in the description of free tool:

– JumpCut: it’s a free website where you can upload and edit your videos.
– Adobe Premiere: it’s my favorite program for video edition, it isn’t free, but you can download a free one-month trial from their website.
