Learning Ski Jumping takes courage, and this 4th grader has what it takes Ok seeing so many still question the title – This is a GIRL! Not one of my daughters but a close friend This was shot with my Contour camera and there is no editing or acting it’s the real deal As several people have pointed out it’s more about the emotions and facing your fears and overcoming them, than the jump itself The jump is not small, the launch is a good 6 feet high and it crosses a Cat Track before the landing slope starts, at a guess a good 8 feet horizontal, and that’s only to the start of the landing ramp, no idea what distance she got on this, her first K40 jump. Personally I find it inspirational
